Rat Rumors: Cody Carr’s Hunting Adventure

Today’s Rat Rumors: I had a couple of leads and voiced concerns yesterday on a matter requiring public input.  Cody Carr’s Hunting Adventure recently bought some land up Eddy Creek.  The Forest Service seeks public comments on Eddy Creek Road Access Project.  The project would issue a special-use permit to Cody to access his 196-acre inholding and give them unlimited motorized access not only to their property but outfitter and guide access on Forest Road 7579-1.  This road would not be open to the public.  The permit is for commercial use as well, which means guiding operations.  I have Callie our River Rat Reporter meeting with Cody Carr later today to get his point of view.  I have already spoken to the forest service to better understand the process.
